Description
Rory dropped his hands to his sides, and stared at the skeleton before him, who had crossed his arms and stood defensively against the three kids before him.
“Tailia? Your name is...Tailia?”
Rory asked, taking a step towards him. Tailia flicked his eyes up towards Rory’s face, looking him directly in the eyes.
“Yes. I thought I made that clear.”
Rory opened his mouth as if to say something, but quickly snapped it shut, falling back into simply staring at Tailia with awe. They stood there for a moment, staring at one another before Tailia reached his limit. He turned and faced Rory completely.
“What do you want? You were the one who kicked me to the ground to question me, and now you’re just gawking at me. What do you want with me?”
Behind him, Rory heard Calvin and Felix whispering to one another. Rory turned to look at them briefly, before turning back towards Tailia.
“I…..I don’t really know. You’re not a….a THREAT to us, as far as I can tell so….”
Rory trailed off and stared down at his hooves. He could feel his face heating up, and he knew he was bright red. Felix was the one who stepped forward and spoke up.
“Hey, you wanna stay with us?”
He asked, bluntly. Tailia’s eyes widened as he stared at the demon child.
“ExCUSE me?”
Tailia questioned, stepping towards Felix. Felix looked over at Rory and Calvin for approval, but Calvin was the only one to nod, as Rory was still staring down at his hooves. Felix turned and grinned at Tailia.
“You heard me! You’ve apparently been hanging around here every night, so if you’re not staying somewhere already, would you like to stay here with us? I wouldn’t mind, and I don’t think anyone else would either!”
Tailia blinked slowly, and dumbly gawked at him. He looked around at nothing in particular before looking back at the kid before him.
“What are you, a motel? You’re just asking a random stranger if they’d like to sleep in your home?”
Tailia scoffed and smirked, crossing his arms in disbelief. Felix stared at him for a moment.
“Uh, I guess I am? Like I said, even if I don’t know you, it would be cool to GET to know you! You could stay here if you’d like, I mean it!”
Felix looked around before leaning in closer to Tailia’s face.
“Plus, I think that Rory might like having you around.”
He said with a cheeky grin. Tailia went bright purple and glanced over at the red faced Saytr.
“Uh…...okay. Sure. Whatever.”
He answered quickly, closing his eyes and standing upright. Rory smiled back at Calvin.
“Perfect! Now it’s a party!”
