Made with TechArts 3DCG sp4 & fanpack.Raquel Applegate is one of the heroines from the videogame Wild Arms 4, although she also appears as a NPC in Wild Arms 5. She is the first woman in the Wild Arms series that develops a lasting relationship (with a guy named Arnaud.) They eventually marry and she has a daughter with him. (Although at the end of WA 4, we're told she dies from radiation poisoning she got long ago, but in WA5 there's a miniquest to cure her that one can do. It does cure her.)

Sounds like the makers of Wild Arms (I've heard of the anime, but I haven't seen it) got a swift kick in the opinion surveys by Raquel fans after they killed her off. Hope they didn't make like Kathy Bates in Misery, though I'm sure there are a lot of gamers who would find such a scenario attractive, from what I've gathered from other video game-related comment streams. Her good ending reminds me of Marie in Nadia, who as a teenager ends up marrying Sanson, her senior by at least 10-20 years (not at all uncommon in the 19th century).
