It would made more sense to make him a tenrec being that he was supposed to be a fake fast hedgehog and I don't think everyone know what that is it would made alot more since to mistake him for Sonic don't question color 😂

Was Shadow originally supposed to be a tenrec, just like Silver was originally supposed to be a minx (named Venice)? It seems tenrec is a pretty common re-species redesign for Shadow.
