I was dedicated to sitting down and doing a scene, but I really had writer's block (poser's block?) and was missing inspiration. I burnt myself out trying to get an idea, and eventually gave up, and went to play some Planetside 2. I don't even think I got into a match before I was back working on this scene. The loading screens on that game make for some great reference, and if you compared them, you'd see a lot of similarities to this scene lmao. Obviously some creative freedoms, but also a lot of stolen ideas. Either way, it came out nicely, and I still love that commander in the front.
