This is only the intro to several other plots I had in mind so, yes, this is the second-to-last comic already.
I wanted to keep this one short so that it would be more of a prologue, establishing my pets and "myself" as per the Neopets 'verse. Unfortunately it went on to span ten pages, which was a little longer than I anticipated, but the pacing would have been too rushed any other way. Hopefully it wasn't too dull, stretching out like this.

I didn't notice it at first, but looking back to check I think the problem with his eyes is that they are pointing in two slightly different directions, but not enough to notice if you aren't looking at them.

I thought so, but nice to get more feedback on that. Unfortunately I think the problem is also that I drew the eye shapes themselves off kilter, so when I tried to readjust where he was looking later in the coloring process it just looked even stranger any other way.
