I worked with Sarah awhile ago for a series with Sandra Hagen who is a mutual friend of ours. The shoot was, in my opinion, no where near my usual quality and it was really a dissapointment because everything was beautiful, but the weather and lighting just didn't cooperate at all. I promised Sarah that we would definitely get together for a shoot in the future though. Almost a year later, we shot this! It was a really rainy day, but I love what we came up with anyways. I gave her the theme of "dark," since we shot this in August, and she brought styling that would work with that feel. I painted the backdrop myself, and I really liked how it looked for this shoot, I really brought out the cool tones in the color photographs to make it feel like a dark and cold evening.
