This one is a little bit harder to read, though... The texturing is wonderful, but I think I'm losing the figure against the background. I had to work to see him emerge from the structure behind him. Having him be mostly high-value helps, but there are enough bright spots on the structure behind him that they all sort of merge together.

I see what you mean. I've got a set of prismacolor markers coming in today, so I'm thinking of going over this one with a combination of those and the pencils, to see if I can force the background where it belongs

This is a really nice piece, my only complaint is that the figure sort of gets lost in the background around the arms and legs. Other than that, this is great!
