Ok so, there are a number of things that turn me on, fetishes I guess. Long pointy ears, goggles, multicolored hair, goggles, soulpatches, goggles, demonic alter egos, and did I mention goggles? It seems I can't be bothered with all of these things seperately anymore, and a while back it all got combined into a single. Wonderful. JAK. FETISH.There is a sad story behind this nontheless. XP
When I spent last summer reading insider sneak peeks of JakII and watching E3 game trailers and interviews with the guys from Naughtydog, it was only a (short) matter of time what with my itching to see the game released SO BADLY that I busted out with some fan art.
And left it about 80 percent finished. For (counts on fingers) about 7 months.

... Great good Mar allmighty. I still don't have my tablet here so I moused in the precursor writing. Ew. And with this belated tribute, I now hear JakIII is in the works. What. The Hell. Is Wrong. With. Me.

Aw, man. I'm such a helpless fangirl. The colouring is just cool, of course, but I love the way you've made them slightly more realistic while still being instantly recognizable. I find it hard to draw Jak in any style but that in which he's portrayed in the game without making him look like someone else.

a great tribute to the jak and daxter all-mighty. as a matter of fact, we have the same fetishes for the most part. let's face it everybody. jak is hawt.
you hit the characters personalities dead on in this picture, and the way you shaded uses so many swirling effects look very nice. tablets are for people with money to blow XD

I recently became a Jak and Daxter fan and after looking around a bit, I think this is the BEST rendition of the two I've seen, yet! I am lovin' the colors and expressions...so perfect! One of these days I'll have to try OpenCanvas.... +fav!

Bwahaha I missed this comment but... technically I believe a soulpatch is facial hair right under the lower lip. Though it's easy to refer to any style of goatee sans mustache as a soulpatch. Easy for me anyway. Chin hair is sexy o________o

God Damn! This looks SO MUCH BETTER than the actual art for the game. Amazing! I like your idea about painting fine hairs and drifters etc and then afterwards coming behind them with the big thick black Mucha line. Maybe that's not how you did it, but it looks that way, and however you did it is very nice.

I love Jak and Daxter SO MUCH! You captured their personas VERY well in their expressions- Jak's quiet, reserved absolute yumminess and Daxter obnoxious, but loveable quirkiness. I have never seen such well done fanart of them- I HAD to favorite this one.
