I love the contrast between the two. One being the surroundings with a cheeryful mood and the other being the charater himself, shaded into a black to represent death. You decipted the emotion very clearly, great job.

this kind of makes me happy, but not 'cause I'm an especially angsy kid (insert 400,0004375357 8('s here, some random black roses, and then throw in a few misspelled Good Charlotte lyrics if you're in the mood) but because I can't but help to feel some kind of... well, feeling for the kid. He must be relieved to not have to worry about anything anymore, and
it does look kind of like a nice day to die.

I think thats neat. It's a gorgeous day, a cheery looking day, but then you have someone who was hung. I like the contrast of the moods. Almost as if it's the cheeryness that made him want to die.
