A local woman was enjoying the nearby beach when she heard the shouting. Unfortunately, she was a new resident to the island and didn't know about the cove's history. For had she known, she never would have responded.

What she didn't know was that all five of them were dead the moment they set foot on the loose and hungry sands. There was no saving any of them. Anyone else arriving would meet their same fate. The same fate that had claimed so many over the years.

In a few minutes, their bodies would enter the depths to join countless pirates, sailors, and local residents who litter the bottom of the quicksand.
