Description

Barberry is a rather diligent LeafWing, who currently studies Phytomedicine. She’s absorbed in her work, and is described by others to be obedient, pleasant, quiet and disciplined. Barberry was born and raised in the Poison Jungle, and plans to live there until she passes. At the age of 12, Barberry witnessed a horrible plague break out across her continent, fatally killing several loved ones and acquaintances. This left the young adult to use some of the knowledge she had, combined with the help of tribe medics, to eventually develop an antidote that would save the rest of her tribe. She is now a knowledgeable medic for the PoisonWings, who is extremely devoted to her work.
While on an expedition for a specific plant, Tulsi, due to the need to rehabilitate it because of developing weather conditions, Barberry’s group stumbled across a smaller group of LeafWings. After some confused interactions, they had established that the group was officially assigned by Bladderwort - a “Leader” figure for the PoisonWings - to gather berries and small prey for an upcoming feast, which relieved some worries. Barberry had known one of the dragons, by the name of Hawkweed; A PoisonWing placed in charge of tribal needs such as food and water. Quite close friends with this charming male, Barberry asked for his assistance in gathering specific flora needed for medicinal purposes within the tribe, which he agreed to. Over the next several few months, Barberry and Hawkweed became rather close, spending a lot of time together- whether it be expeditions, work purposes or in their own time. Eventually, the two found themselves falling for each other.
Barberry and Hawkweed currently reside together in a sectioned-off area in the Poison Jungle, where there aren’t any signs of carnivorous or dangerous fauna or flora.
