Ether is a fairly pretty Icewing-Nightwing hybrid, who is said to hold the galaxy in her eyes.
Ether's hybrid look is highly noticeable, despite being just one-quarter IceWing, thanks to her icicle-like neck and tail spines, as well as the galaxy of whirling icy-blue scales on her wings. Ether has a trail of star-like scales along her tail, similar to her grandmother, Constellation, as if the constellation of stars on her wings weren't enough of a giveaway to her NightWing bloodline.
Ether has a rather dire passion for art, with an eye for painting. Her father, Crystal, is a great storyteller who has told Ether about various meetings with other tribes, extending her horizons on themes for her paintings. Hundreds of Ether's paintings are pinned to the walls of her family's home: SeaWings at the Summer Palace, SandWings lounging in the sun, IceWings soaring through blizzards, and so on. Her creative aptitude is supposed to be a direct inheritance from her ancestor, Whiteout, although some of Ether's relatives merely brush off the thought, claiming that Ether may just be gifted.
Ether possesses both NightWing powers; the gift of mind-reading, as well as the capacity to foresee the future. To indicate her gifts, two teardrop scales are located outside the corner of each eye. Her unusual indication has caught the eye of several students attending school alongside the hybrid, whom frequently ask Ether why she doesn't have a singular teardrop scale like majority of gifted NightWings.
