|| NOTE || Sandpiper is a major character set in a timeline taking place in 7,012 AS, as well as the protagonist of Wings of Fire; Hidden Secrets. No royalty or events mentioned in this deviation are canonical to the original Wings of Fire timeline.

Sandpiper is a rather friendly SandWing-IceWing hybrid, who's known to be respectful.
Having been raised under the mountain her entire life, Sandpiper did not see the world for quite some time, however still knew a substantial amount of knowledge about the dragon tribes that inhabited the continents, as well as The Great War- the war she was hatched to end. It wasn't until the Dragonets of Destiny fled the mountain out of fear that Sandpiper finally saw the world for the first time.
Despite not knowing many dragons before she and her friends fled the cave, Sandpiper was surprisingly shown to have good manners when they landed in the Sky Kingdom, having bowed at the right dragon and dipped her head in respect to those of higher power. Although Sandpiper claims this was purely out of instinct, the other dragonets continuously argue with her about this, saying that she merely did this to impress the queen.
Sandpiper is known for her odd habit of making little objects out of random materials, such as bracelets from twine, necklaces from shells and so on. The SandWing dragonet has gifted these objects to her friends in the past, which they did appreciate. However, Sandpiper has been scolded countless times for "wasting the talon's resources," as said by Hoarfrost and Tidal, two of the dragonet's guardians.
