Hi there!

Well I have seen this piece again! I think I have the process on my favs.
Love the composition and the coloring seems good. Also the wings are really well and carefully made!

You have used a really nice color pallete for the whole piece but I feel like the fabrics could use a bit more rendering.
Also I feel like the clouds on the bottom right are too "heavy" and makes the character seem like falling instead than just standing there and flying!

Your art and your general aesthetics seem really good and promising! With just some more practive you could be drawing for wizards of the coast some day!

What an epic piece of art! I like how the light reflects off of the guardian's longer feathers, and how along the top of the wings, the feathers are layered more tightly and thickly. The adornments on the character are also really cool, I like the necklace and bracers a lot. You also did an excellent job with the background. The brushes or effects that you used really feel like traditional art, and there's something very physical about them, where it feels like I could actually touch your brush lines. That's awesome! Congrats on a great piece!
