Description
Every kaiju has it's unique ecosystem of parasites living in and on their bodies, but the Battratan Cordyceps fungus (related to the Matango breed) holds particular interest. If a Mothra imago lives far longer than expected, or has survived significant injury, it's immune system weakens, allowing the mutant cordyceps to take over the host body and control it.The fungus will grow inside and out the Mothra, developing a fungal crest and armor, and set off to spread it's spore across the sea, hoping to infect a myriad of host.
