Description
An especially tall radialmorph native to the hazardous salt planes of the desert.

Silver Trees are the only large animal to inhabit these salt regions permanently rather than just passing through. An adaption to the constant sun exposure is the reflective fur that covers it's body, reducing it's temperature significantly. These hairs are collected in fan like groups that flex to cool the body further, while an "umbrella" above the head keeps the eyes underneath from being blinded by sunlight.

Silver Trees sense out hidden tunnels of water beneath the salt hardened earth, and once located they begin to drill towards it with their beak. Much of their body is dedicated to holding the long telescoping neck required to reach these water networks, and even then they will often drag their body into the drilling hole for better reach. These water networks are often plump with microrganisms and minerals that the Silver Tree consumes via a net of tongues.

Silver Trees often carry many parasites and symbiotes due to being one of the only sources of food or water on the salt planes.
