Done! My ideal 616 Avengers lineup.GEEK TALK:
I would've put Spidey in his Iron Spider outfit [link] (it's my favorite, okay? :[ ) but figured his original costume's just too damn iconic to avoid.
Also struggled between choosing Steve or Bucky as Cap, went with the ladder since I like the streamlined look, he's underrated and I prefer Rogers as director of SHIELD anyway. I was kinda bummed out when he got squished in Fear Itself :/
Tony's "Resilient armor" took the longest. Agh! I hate drawing armor.
I wish Hank stayed as the new Wasp. The Giant Man costume's so dorky.
Thought about making Clint Ronin cause he was great in New Avengers but the guy's really defined by his bow, so...
As far as females go, I really like Ms. Marvel. Her appearance/abilities kind of make her a generic powerhouse-superhero... but in a good way?
Yea I'll shut up now.

not like his suit/helmet/mast/face plate thingy can show emotion... no eyebrows of facial articulation at all except to come off!!!

Actually, I was looking more towards at his general boy posture. Unlike Spiderman (also covered all over) up there, Iron Man looks a bit less dynamic/enthusiastic, that's all.

having to be thinking of the sentence you said, may be realising something of which there is not being correct.... but yea i think spidy and wolvie make the team insainly great.... like in marvel ultimate alliance 1&2 ps2 goaat pick any 4 avengers? iron man, Cap, Spidy, and Wolvie!!!! mission completed!!!!! ... sorry i dont know much from thor.. coz i always found him... kinda fake... i know it the marvelverse but thor is quite a set character.... like if they had lasers in ww2 for cap's first missions... (with wolvie) :S ... hmmm geek out!

and stark at the end of the 2nd hulk movie!! with fury!!!! not in timeline i dont think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no clues in the xmen movies, but cant wait for First class to hit my cinemas!

I never read anything with Captain Bucky, but I really loved the idea of Supercop Steve - he's so badass, he don't need no stinking mask!
Personally I would have also thrown in Spider-woman and Beast too, but that's just me.
Great coloring work here. The linework isn't too shabby either.

Awesome! This is certainly one of the most dynamic Avengers pieces I've ever seen... I love it!
I think the character selection is really great. It mixes iconic with modern in the best possible ways to create a really fantastic line-up. Although, I can't help but feel it's too light on female characters. The Avengers have some of the greatest female characters (who are often more powerful and infinitely more interesting than the men -- I mean, She-Hulk is much more multi-dimensional than her *yawn* cousin) so it's kind of sad to only see two women in the piece. 
The posing in this piece is spectacular and each one looks quite dynamic. When it comes to characters, something as seemingly simple as posing can be quite complicated. Characters stand, pose and look certain ways so you've definitely nailed their personality in their poses (particularly Spider-Man, Wolverine, Black Widow and Hawkeye). I can see you've poured a lot of hard work into this piece as well. Their costumes look so detailed and you didn't miss a single stitch on any of them. In the costume department, Hawkeye and Thor are definite stand-outs. In fact, I'd say Thor is actually the star of this piece. He's got a ruggedly handsome face, perfectly sculpted muscles, a wonderfully detailed costume and the way you drew the lightning effect is super cool. I'll also say that I'm a fan of the way you've coloured the piece. The softness is very brilliant. It makes it feel more natural.
So yeah... lack of characters with vaginas aside, this is abso-freaking-lutely amazing!

I actually considered doing a female Avengers line-up image instead of this (Rescue, X-23, Valkyrie, She-Hulk etc.) but decided with all the buzz that the movies have been getting I ought to take the more traditional approach.
Anyway, I don't feel that She-Hulk is even half the powerhouse that Hulk is. Nor is X-23 as experienced as Logan etc. That being said though, I have a lot of respect for the two I did choose (Black Widow & Ms. Marvel), both have leadership/long-time experience to the team and both well respected females in the Marvel U.

Aw man! That would have been so amazing! Sometimes female-led pieces end up becoming the most popular and critically-acclaimed works out there. Just look at Adam Hughes, he made a career out of drawing women.
I think many would argue that She-Hulk is just as strong as Hulk. Although, that's never been what was important to her character. I mean, these male characters often reach such powerful states that writers forget to give them weaknesses and multi-faceted personalities. Jen escaped that curse and became one of the funniest, most well-written Marvel characters out there.
Wasp and Scarlet Witch also would have been perfect for your piece. Although, their exclusion is understandable given Jan's "death" in the comics (boo, why can't they just kill Hank off already?!) and Wanda's exclusion from the Avengers film franchise ('cause she's technically owned by Fox because she's a mutant... it's stupid because she's more of an Avenger than most others).

That's awesome! I like Steve Rogers Cap best, but Bucky's cool too. I prefer how Iron Man used to put on his armor instead of it coming out of his body, but that's a cool looking suit.
