Done! My ideal 616 Avengers lineup.GEEK TALK:
I would've put Spidey in his Iron Spider outfit [link] (it's my favorite, okay? :[ ) but figured his original costume's just too damn iconic to avoid.
Also struggled between choosing Steve or Bucky as Cap, went with the ladder since I like the streamlined look, he's underrated and I prefer Rogers as director of SHIELD anyway. I was kinda bummed out when he got squished in Fear Itself :/
Tony's "Resilient armor" took the longest. Agh! I hate drawing armor.
I wish Hank stayed as the new Wasp. The Giant Man costume's so dorky.
Thought about making Clint Ronin cause he was great in New Avengers but the guy's really defined by his bow, so...
As far as females go, I really like Ms. Marvel. Her appearance/abilities kind of make her a generic powerhouse-superhero... but in a good way?
Yea I'll shut up now.

Actually yes, yes there was need. What with your condescending tone asking me if I`ve even seen any of the movies or read any of the comics. Kid, I probably own more Avengers comics than you`ve read.

I'm so excited for the new Avengers movie it's making me retarded. This is a great piece, I wish there were more ladies in the frame though and Cap's hand looks a touch small. The colors are amazing!

Aw, you think? I love comics and I have a big collection of Marvel and DC hardcovers, but I also really love what Marvel has done with their Cinematic Universe. It's faithful to the original stories and has a high level of quality, at least, in my opinion.
But hey, you're the artist here! If you don't like it, then just don't do it. I just wanted to give the suggestion.

I feel like every time I watch a Marvel movie I'm constantly reminded of how little depth it has relative to the comics. It's like "Whoa, that looks awesome... but the comics have so much more in character chemistry, emotional depth, political intrigue, witty dialogue etc."
It's really no contest. The films, to me, are just a really good way for Marvel to get the masses interested with established, superior existing material.
That being said, I still enjoy the movies for being movies. But speaking relatively... comics all the way for me. 8]

Yeah, I see what you mean. The comics have much more established backstory and much more space to create a stronger story, whereas the movies have limited time to do so and need to be accessible to everyone. So I respect and, most of all, understand your opinion.
Still, just the fact that Marvel itself is making these movies, having strict control so that nobody rapes the stories we know and love (for instance, an early attempt at an Iron Man movie from a decade ago had a script where Tony's father Howard Stark was still alive and became the villain... War Machine. Yeah, really. Compared to that, the Iron Man series is extremely faithful!), and creating a cohesive canon that allows awesome things such as Tony Stark appearing in a Hulk movie or the Avengers movie from next year... you know, it's a good time to be a comic book fan.
Well, anyway, sorry for proposing you do something that doesn't interest you, I just though it might be cool.
