Finally beat Fire Emblem Fates! It was a lil' more difficult than I bargained for since I grabbed Conquest and thought it'd be like Awakening on Hard/Classic. (I mean it wasn't so bad until like Chapter 21 but then it was all uphill from there, haha!) I can't imagine how people find Lunatic enjoyable, it gets to a certain point where it's just more grinding and cheese tactics? Masochists.Anyway, didn't like how Fates is three mediocre stories that make up one good one, but I suppose we can't blame companies for just wanting more $$$. Probably not going to pick up Birthright or Revelations though. More excited to start Bravely Second now, heh~

(I'm in the middle of a Birthright run, my first one, so I have yet to hear the other version[s] of the song, going with the assumption that there are different versions based on the path you choose.
That song is absolutely beautiful, and more so when Azura sings it. If I could, I'd gladly S-Rank her with my character, but the wiki says if I do that, I won't be able to unlock all the children... why it's rigged that way, I'll never know.
This art, on the other hand, is beautiful as well, and in my opinion, perfectly expresses the bond she and the Avatar share, even if they aren't paired up. Well done, my friend. Excellent work.)

I love seeing love for FE: Fates. I have all three campaigns, though I've only finished Birthright so far. I understand why you may not feel inclined to play through Birthright, though I personally really enjoyed the Japanese-inspired designs and aesthetics applied to the standard Fire Emblem gameplay.
The point where Corrin has to chose which family to side with is actually, IMO, even more heartbreaking the second time; at that point, you've spent so much time getting to know one set of royal siblings only to have to turn your backs on them.

Birthright is more like Awakening in gameplay and the story is much, much better than Conquest imo. Conquest has the weakest story.
