Ah the Zelda games! I haven't truly gotten into one since Ocarina of Time. I got through half of Twilight Princess and watched my fiance play Skyward Sword but neither really caught my attention. Then Breath of the Wild comes out of nowhere and just hits all the right spots for me.The battle system is mechanically rewarding (Perfect Dodge/Block) and I've never been so impressed with a puzzle design like the Camel Divine Beast since playing Portal 1 & 2! Granted I don't think it's a perfect production (weapon durability low, with no repair options? A horse I can't just whistle to appear whenever? Also wish Link had a more personal relationship with the Champions other than Mipha etc.) but a really damn amazing one that I enjoyed taking my time with. Just scouring Hyrule brought me back to when I first played Fallout 3 and would simply explore for the fun of it!

I don't have a Switch yet. I'm not sure if it's worth the price and hardware issues to just get a machine to play Zelda. Tell meΒ is this game really THAT good? You can use as words as many as you'd like to respond.

I don't think it's worth buying a whole system for, but it really depends what your income is like. If you love video games and have $$$ I'd say just go for it.

You apparently can fix weapons, and you need ore to do it I believe. I've only watched a stream of it though so I'm not sure what's involved or who to talk to for itΒ

There's only a few select weapons that you can repair/remake. It's not worth it either considering their DPS/durability and the time required to gather the materials.

I just freed Divine Beast Va Ruta last night and it took me 5 tries to beat WaterBlight Ganon.Β I was down to my last giant sword and no more arrows but Ganon had little health left and I was running low on food.Β It was now or never so I dove into the water as he chucked ice blocks at me, I threw my sword at Ganon and it broke but it was enough to kill him.

Duuude I had a similar experience! I ran out of arrows for the last bit of that fight cause I didn't plan ahead, I improvised and ended up throwing 3 weapons to kill him. Hahaha xD

Too bad I started a new game after Krows Graveyard started the 100% let's play. These has been so much that I missed.
