Description
THE POWER OF KRYPTONNNNNNI picked up Superboy and Supergirl during the New 52 reboot but dropped both titles at about 5-10 issues. I recently picked them up again for the story archs featuring H-El though and as far as new villains go, he's up there with the Court of Owls for me.
Unfortunately, I still haven't read any Superman titles other than his All Star series but boy do all the Man of Steel movie trailers look delicious.

Kudos on the colouring and obvious skill involved, but all I can think is how a morbidly unhealthy amount of dehydration is required to maintain muscles popping like that. I am so concerned for them all.

Meh, they're Kryptonians. They don't need water. In fact, they could survive off the sun alone.

Why does superman need knee pads?

Its probably just an aesthetic thing.

Good point, but sometimes Superman's outfit is made of a Kryptonian material that's supposed to be as indestructible as he is, so... Maybe it's the same thing?
I don't remember if they stopped doing that or not though because his outfit got pretty jacked up when he fought Doomsday, way back in the day.

as far as i can tell kryptonian materials can be synthesised at a molecular level by specialized machines in the fortress of solitude. indestructible knee pads, likely if they are padded and not plated then they ought to be softer than his knees.
as far as I can tell, superman is not entirely indestructible, as show when doomsday does make him bleed and when he has had a chunk of his face cut I think it has a lot to do with his natural biofield.
As far as i can tell I'll tell you whut.

Great job. I've been reading all the Superman titles since the New 52 launch, and have really enjoyed them all (especially Supergirl). The H'El on Earth arc was a great cross-over story.
On a related note, you might as well just take all my moneys now if you're going to keep making awesome arts that I want to buy at CalExpo.

I approve of his choice in keeping individuality. Black and red, no cape instead of blue red and cape.

Love it, but I do have to agree with another comment that Superman does look a bit young, also his head looks really small to compared to the rest of his body or maybe the cape is just causing the perspective to seem weird.

Very nice I like their eyes and the color and shading is beautiful, only think I would change is how Supergirl's symbole concaves into her breasts, it should lay flat stretched over them instead of conforming with them.

I would've since it makes sense with them being powered by the sun and all! However, I recently did a couple of orange/sun-lighting based pieces and I try to keep the variety up in my coloring. :]
