On the cheek. Mhm. Then her lips slipped, because it was so dark in there. The exile needs to come out of the spacecloset *rolls eyes*
You know, I actually think I like the base drawing better. The colors are fine, and the tinted light reflections on the clothing look nice, but overall the whole thing feels too blurry for my tastes - and I actually do like blur. I normally run around dA, point at people's work and yell "blur that!" daily.
And yet, this one's too blurry. You lose a lot of the contour work from the sketch, which I liked, and the background - while appropriate and fairly atmospheric - doesn't blend very well. Perhaps it's just me being a prick, but I could see it was added afterwards even before I've seen the sketch.
May be a matter of preference though.
