Edit 13 Jul 2008: Previously this was a deviation not a scap work, but clearly people like the other (online viewable) version better. Still, I really wish dA hadn't taken out preview images for just about everything
And of course, by now 2.6 is almost out!! Including lockable dialogs whee! \o/ GIMP 2.6 New Features
Also edited cc license for compatibility with wikibooks, hopefully.

Puargh done!! My first finished tut XD
A lot of other people have covered the flame render, but I felt like making a short tutorial
so I did this. Really easy~ beginner level for sure.
(Btw GIMP is sorta like opensource, and thus free, photoshop... kind of. See wikipedia: [link] )
App. 1.5 mbs... Zip has a PNG image and a sample xcf.
