Well since their probably wasn't a proper source of light in the last room, let alone a portable one, I would suggest rolling one or more of those hairbeads to listen out for when it bounces against the rooms features... but that might ruin the Cool hair :V so walk forward along with a hand on the wall, to at least have some reference and a chance to find a turn or corner.
