Unpaid over time, long wait for the bus, and bad weather compel me to accept no responsibility. I just wanted to doodle mini-Marik, but then... it somehow turned into this. Partial blame goes to an anecdote on Marik's Twitter about his graduation photo.Yeaaaah, I need to stop scrapping stuff and do some actual drawing at some point. Bad pun about not being able to focus goes here.
I have also learnt a valuable lesson: children, never draw when tired or all sorts of terrible things could happen. Like flattening an image before working on it some more... then realising you missed off a whole layer of shading, but can't do anything about it because the line-art and colour layers are now one and the history wont go back that far. If I can remedy this over the weekend, I'll move it into my main gallery, but for now, it can stay in scraps.
Hank is a cool dude. You know, disregarding the insanity and child abuse.

Hopefully I can roll back on track and finally finish your birthday-present-turned-get-well-soon-present... before next year. I also hope you've been resting your voice after last night! As much as Marik's rendition of 'Always' by Erasure made my day, it sounded like it was really hurting (I can recommend vast amounts of tea and throat sweets - always been a lifesaver after all night karaoke).

Augh. This so cute. I was caught in this awkward mix of squealing and laughing the entire time.

But seriously. I think my favorites are the first panel, because his eyes look so big and cute and sparkly, and the last one, 'cause of how you drew Hank.
He is indeed a cool dude.

except what happened to me
was that i finished linearting a pic
i exited the program
then i go to replace the sketch with the lineart onto the usb
i put it on my other comp
and it turns out
i actually replaced the lineart with the sketch
and would have to start from scratch....
to thi day i never got around to relinearting the pic OTL
i hope the day gets better
or your tomorrow it much more bright.

Man, that must have sucked. I've always found doing line-art the most tedious part of drawing, so I can feel your pain on that one. Sigh.

yes. it really is the most tedious part of the job. because you make little corrections to the sketch, and etc. if only life wasnt so cruel... OTL
