A long over due continuation from The Fall Out: Part 4

Vladimir stood ready, the rain streaming down his face. In front and behind stood Catherine personal bodyguards. The towering brutes each looked like a wall of muscle, with enough speed in them to put Bruce Lee through his paces. They closed in on him, circling like sharks. He watched them closely. Then the first move was made. From behind the fresh brute lugged towards him. His fists meeting Vladimir’s forearms as he blocked the volley of punches coming at him. Vlad grabbed the final blow with both hands.
He quickly glanced over his shoulder, the other brute charged at him. Vladimir pulled the brutes arm, throwing him into the oncoming attacker. Letting go as the brutes tackled each other. He had an opening, with one winded, he could focus on the other for a short time. Vladimir struck, first going for kidney shot, then a boot to the back of the leg, bring him to knees.
Vladimir moved in, grabbed his head and with all the force he could muster and bent him backwards. The feel of the muscle resisting the pull in the opposite direction as Vlad added more force. The brute trying desperately to grab at Vlad with his free arms. He pushed his knee into the brute back making him bend even more then should naturally. Then he felt it, the pop of the neck and head separating. The brutes’ arms went lifeless. Vladimir dropped him, water exploding from underneath body as it impacted the road.

Trying to catch his breath, Vladimir stepped back as the crowd parted. Standing behind them was Catherine, with blood running down her face.
“This ends now Vladimir!” she shouted at him with a raised hand towards him, fingers opened wide. A sinister smile grew across her face, widen with the joy of what was about to happen…

I'm so, so sorry for not working on this more. Back in late October, I had a personal problem which has had bad effect on this work and its progress. I was in the middle of working on this when it happen and have not been able to bring my self back to it. I have it in my head, where I want this story to go and how I want it to play out. My inability to continue this story because of my issues has left me unable to free up a much loved villain that I have done no justice to in any way so far.

Please forgive me. I don't when or how long it will take, but I will finish this story.
