I was kinda debating with myself IF I’m going to upload this here, or if this will be an exclusive to the fanfiction. To me, this is incredibly personal, not to mention highly intimate. To me, trusting someone enough for a romantic action like this, is something incredibly special. A deep bond, love like this, sheer trust and complete “giving your all” to someone, is something that is more worth than any value in the universe. Honestly? I don’t even know how to express myself in words properly regarding this.

Despite being a cheeky little brat, Nemo has an incredibly soft core, loving fully and unconditionally, while being possibly the most wholesome little mouse in the world. That tough act, usually is nothing but a show, a coping mechanism to hide insecurities, to hide the shameful feeling of being “weak” like this. To Nemo, being vulnerable is something she simply can’t do. This is something I can relate to on a personal level as well. However, this also shows all the more so, why this scene is so special. After a while, the bond ran so deep, that Nemo started to cry in front of Ace, she started to admit when she’s afraid, she started to be vulnerable and later on, Ace had become the only person where she felt safe enough to do so openly.
