One of my oldest OCs, and its only now I get to actually introducing him....

Anywho, this is Remus Raven, a character from my Demon Hunter series. However, this is an AU version of him for this: fav.me/db7kapy (Bear in mind that the only major difference between JOTB and Hunter is a change in their backstory)

So here's his breakdown;
Name: Remus Morpheus Raven
Nickname: Remy, One-Eye
Real Name: Remus Morpheus Raven
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Unknown
Age: 26

Personality
Remus: Quiet, keeps to himself, is indifferent towards the subject of murder. He resents his service to the Boss but is aware that he currently lacks the means and method to escape. Spends his downtime tending to his flowers and often hums to himself. Also has an intense will to survive by any means as shown when he willingly tore all the flesh and skin off his left hand to escape imprisonment.
Hellfire Lord: Craves destruction in all forms. When he takes control, his sole intention is to set fire to everything he sees with sadistic glee.

Equipment
Eyepatch: Having lost an eye as a child, this eyepatch does far more then hide a vicious wound. On the inside is a Restraint Mark which limits his Pyromancer powers (more details on that below). While he can still manipulate fire, he cannot directly conjure it and thus relies on his lighter.
Duster: More then just a fashion statement, Remus' duster has hundreds of protection symbols and charms inked across the lining. This makes Remus incredibly resilient to all forms of magic used against him so long as he has his duster on. While he is not completely immune, some of the most deadly and powerful spells in the world are reduced to mere irritations against him.
Shock Collar: The failsafe mechanism, Remus' is implemented around his neck and he usually hides it underneath one of his turtlenecks
Vivian: A gift from his grandfather, Vivian is a Smith & Wesson Model 29 revolver. Remus' favorite gun by far, he always keeps Vivian at his hip and is quick to draw her should things go bad.
Inferno: A mystic lighter, Inferno is unique for it draws fuel from its user's latent magic power and converts it into fire.
Susan: Remus' prized motorcycle, she's a Honda Shadow 1100 (ex: mototribe.s3.amazonaws.com/sty… )
Bone Hand: Aside from his Western attire and eyepatch, another distinguishing feature of Remus' is that his left hand from the wrist down is entirely skeletal. Usually hidden with a black glove, the only difference Remus' left hand has in comparison to one of flesh is that he cannot feel anything in his left hand.

Skills
Gunplay: Having a RCMP officer for a grandfather and bonafide cowboy/biker for an aunty, Remus is more then adapt at use of guns ranging from old-fashioned revolvers to magnums and shotguns. While he packs only Vivian, he's quick to figure out any other gun he finds while on the job.
Close-Quarter-Combat: While by no means a master in any form of close combat, Remus is far from helpless in a bare-handed fight.
Gardening: Despite his nature as a Pyromancer, Remus is a proficient gardener and keeps a variety of houseplants.

Pyromancy
Having been possessed by the Hellfire Lord, Remus is one of the few (if not the last) Pyromancers left in the world. Able to manipulate fire as if it were an extension of himself, Remus is able to bend fire and lava to his will. However, Remus is a unique case among Pyromancers for his power stems from the demon that's possessing him. As such, his capabilities and power depends on whether or not he has his eyepatch on.

Restrained: With the eyepatch on, Remus' power over fire is limited to controlling any pre-existing flame or lava, but cannot create it himself. Additionally, he can channel it through his limbs and any weapons he uses, making his punches and kicks incendiary and every shot he fires from Vivian burns the flesh.

Unbound: If the eyepatch is removed, the Hellfire Lord takes complete control. While in this state, Remus can conjure fire and lava with a flick of the wrist as well as project it from his palms and mouth like a vengeful god. He has no need for any mortal weapon, but because the Hellfire Lord is at the reins, there is no limit to his destructive potential. If left unchecked, the Hellfire Lord would go on to burn all in sight to ashes.

Weaknesses
Like his Pyromancy, Remus' weaknesses are dependent on if the eyepatch is on or not
Restrained: Remus has the same vulnerabilities of any other human. If it can kill an average joe, it'll kill him too. However, Remus is also stricken with near-constant physical pain, As such, he cannot run and simple actions such as raising his arms above his head and bending his knees hurt quite a bit.

Unbound: When the Hellfire Lord is in control, Remus' physical resilience is incredibly high. However, the Hellfire Lord has a major weakness to electricity and lightning. A powerful enough zap will weaken him enough for the eyepatch to be put back on and chain the demon once more.

Backstory (JOTB Version)
Having no memory from birth to age 7, the earliest record of Remus is a boy covered in burns and scars abandoned in a burnt forest. Discovered and raised by a Witch and Half-Demoness, Remus grew up in a fairly remote part of the world. Well loved by his mothers, Remus grew to be a quiet and shy boy plagued by nightmares and constant physical pain. Despite this, he was happy with his life and his mothers taught him the best they could in the art of Pyromancy and magic.

Living a secluded life, it wasn't until Remus was at the age of 22 that his life irreversibly changed. During one of his few visits to the nearby cities far from his home, Remus was taken and forcefully inducted into the Boss' agency as a specialist in overt operations and if need be, genocidal acts via the Hellfire Lord.
