Description
This is a cleaned-up version of the Shogun Predator that I drew a while back. The black and white version has some shading on it that makes it cumbersome for digital colorists, so I eliminated all of that and also simplified some of the details. All of the essentials are still there, so have fun. This lineart is freely available for coloring. If you decide to color this lineart, here is my lineart usage policy:

Oh god, the amount of details! I always wonder how much time it takes you to make such amazingly detailed pieces. Very well done!

Thanks very much!
This one did take quite a while - I think from pencilwork to the end of the inking it took about ten hours, but I spread that out over a couple of days.

Woah, it does take quite some time then, but I'd say it's definitely worth it, all your works are awesome!

Thank you. I wanted to make this design easier to color, too. With my traditional media, I just color right over the lines and shading; digital colorists sometimes get irritated by all the extra shading lines.

Man, the level of detail which you put into your works is just so damn insane! I am suddenly reminded of why I became a fan of your works and I gotta say, seeing Predator work from you never gets old!

I love those details. I always have, and the detail and complexity of the Predator design is what drew me to them in the first place (that, and an art teacher who gave us a blow-by-blow account of Predator 2 back when it was first released). Even twenty years later, I still enjoy drawing these guys. I'm touched that you still like my stuff.

I think I was... 13 or 14 when I first discovered your works over on Elfwood, and I was blown away by the level of details in your work. I was a fan then, and ten or eleven years later, I am still a fan.

Initially, I used Micron pens with different-width nibs. I did some retouching in Photoshop by running it through different filters, then going in and cleaning up the grungy bits.

OH my god, this is so intricate... I love it. I want to colour it but I think it might actually kill me to try!

It very nearly killed me, and I was using traditional media. I had to take it in small steps over several days. It is a BEAR to color, but the results are well worth the effort. I'd love to see what you can do with it.

Oh-Em-Gee, you're absolutely right. I will start brainstorming on a ninja Predator design.

It's my pleasure.....
Also, most ninja are skinny and have very thin builds/body structure.....
Preadtors however, vary in body structure, but most are big......
