The Orochimaru influence is beyond noticeable. I saw this pic in your gallery and thought "Oooh Itachi...no wait..Oro? o.O Orochimaru with Itachi's face? WTF?" Then I opened it and read your caption and it all makes sense now.

Ponytail-less Itachi is hotness personified. And of course, the drawing itself is gorgeous as well. I can faintly recall the scene of Orochimaru which you said you used for reference. It was back in the chuunin exams, right?
The red tones looks great on him (well, in the right hands, anything concerning Itachi could be considered masterpieces
