My ideal finale for the Uchiha showdown.

There are some differences with canon, whatever.

This looks a lot more OMFG when you see it like a manga, but since I'm not going to upload page per page you have this.
The last panel, you can imagine Itachi saying something if you want.

i can SO imagine the clapping-

I much prefer your version of the ending, but alas...
Honestly, I have this sneaky suspiscion that Itachi really isn't dead, because he may
have been on to Madara, and figured out how to do a jutsu like Pein did with substituting
somebody in his place and using his chakra. Why no right-before-the-death flashbacks?
