At the end of my hike, the position of the sun was allowing for some very nice reflections to be cast upon the surface of this pond.
Every time I look at this photo I have to remind myself that there isn't ice forming on the pond. It's actually the reflection of the mountain in the background.
The area surrounding the lake was hazy due to all the salmon being smoked, but the pond reflection of the mountain seemed to be clearer on the water than what could be viewed normally.
Ah, the magic of nature.
