She was trying to say that people that live in large houses are responsible for bad things that happen to people far away. No, they are not.
Yes, they could help, but helping by sending money or goods is making poor people even more lazy and irresponsible. It's not our fault that when our grandparents were working hard to develop industrial civilisation and philosophy, Africans were sitting on their asses and killing each other like they did for centuries, so now they have ridiculously low productivity and poor ethics.
@children: a dying child is a smaller problem for itself than for its parents who are responsible or its death. The child might not even realize what is going on, but they will suffer.
Every second a few people die whatever we do, so death is not a problem.
