Description As promised, one interesting wwI plane. I paint it because I really like the unusual design. Its an austria-hungarian figter nicknamed Starstrutter or flying coffin
Second thing is that Im coming from the same city as the pilot of this plane. He was the best pilot from hungary in wwI. On the picture he is defending the port on adriatic against Italian bombers.

Technically, I had a 3d model done by my friend which was used for basic perspective. Rest is painting in photoshop with a big help from custrom brushes done by other frined. But generally I went to sligtly different and more dramatic style. So dont know if it was succesfull, you can tell me how you like it. Or dislike

*CHEERS!*

Awesome stuff, love it.

More of these forgotten hall marks? Maybe take inspiration from "Porco Russo" ?

Cheers!

Its is very awesome. I love it a lot.

Old stuff in general kinda interests me. I like to think about what kind of life people led back in the old days.

I really like it, but since you're so gifted with details, you should have dedicated more time to the plane and its details and less to the background. Anyway, a piece of art as usual

Another one for the hall of fame!

Interesting about the name of this aircraft, there was another one with a similar nickname - SP2 which flyers considered to mean "sepultura per duo" or "grave for two" (it was a two-seater).

wonderful piece of work, but may I ask what plane is there in the back? cause if I remember correctly (what I saw at the museum of course, not live haha), the Austrian-Hungarian fighters had crosses on their wings.

interesting design indeed!
I like how it has the gun inplaced up high as to make sure that it doesn't have to work with the propellers at all

The Textures that you were able to use are magnificent. The Metal looks like.. Metal!

Great job

where you you get your sesorces?!
All your works are paked with such explicit details ... what's your sorce? Do you like live close to a museum?

Returning to the pic ... I just LOVE it! I feel like I am in the air and everything is moving all around me. Yes, "moving" is the proper word for it. I feel as though everything is moving.
