This is truly an engaging vision- it is not difficult to see your inspiration and perhaps the origin of your premise: I see influence of Silent Film Imagery,Munch,german expressionism, even a touch of Vargus ( WW2 Era Pin-up artist). This image is truly accessible to all who view it - it cannot fail to cause an empathic,emotional response.

ah no I don't, my face was actually painted white and such, um the rest is overlay and darkening in photoshop really along with contrast

Reminds me of the ancient American silent melodramas of years long gone, a touch of early German horror as well, but I do half expect to look into the background and see Rudi Valentino in the background.
