the rings look pretty cool but there should probably be some spacing between the rings and the planet itself.
and i agree with shr00m, the planet itself looks a little off or cartooney then the rest of it. but, for just learning this is a great job.

not bad..i like the background u used and the rings on it were done well..although the actual planet seems a lil cartoonish..not sure if that was the look u were goin for but thats what i got out of it..so if thats what u were goin for great job..if not..pretty good job =]
