Description
don't ask why im doing this car, even i don't know, it doesnt exist in my country, i never heard of it until some potential client asked me to make one thats minorly tuned, he supplied the blueprints but since i knew nothing, zippo, natta about this car or the shape or even what year it is that i am making, its hard to find reference images that arent tuned or chopped up.anyway the basic mesh is pretty much bs, did it in about 3 hours, didnt do the bumpers yet, made the side skirt nice and flat for now so i can screw it up later., he/she wanted it clean and simple, semi stock but smooth without the rubber bumpers......just how i like doing things....lol.
chances are im probably just gonna drop the project and throw this one to the side too. oh yeah i forgot the name of the car while submitting this image.....stupid huh?

No Calibras in North America either. I know of the car through Max magazine so I was surprised to see it. Its not exactly a widely known about car.

the states don't have many cars come to think of it, especially california, every other state aside from mines, you can import almost anything and register it with a few signatures and a few documents, but not california.

Its not exactly a piece of cake to import a car into other states either.

cinema 4d only has one type of nurbs, max has meshsmooth, nurbs, nurms, turbosmooth(plugin) and i think there is one other one, but i don't use max. its a low poly mesh put into a nurbs procedure.

so did I, was riding a bicycle until I was i think like 19, then bought a schwinn electric scooter from Sam's club(wal-mart's costco imitaiton) for 300 bucks and rode that for a while, then bought another electric scooter(chinese made) for 600 bucks, it ran pretty good until the back tire got flat, i mean the old one did 17mph and went for 10 miles before it died, this one went the same top speed and went 35 miles before it died. back tire was a bitch to take off, but in the process, we lost some of the stuff that put it together.
Then bought a piece of shit chinese Gas scooter for $1000 dollars straight and it it only went for about 400 miles, it ran fine and the guys said it was water proof and was sealed...yeah right, as soon as it rained, i took it for a ride, the engine sucked up so much water, it rusted from the inside out also the fuelines were always kinking up as well as all the other hoses and fuel would leak and so would the oil when the bike got too hot, possibly because of the kinkings, after it rusted i rode the bicycle again. anyway so I bought another chinese gas scooter from a better dealer and paid 1500 for a 2000 dollar scooter. this one ran fine, no problems, bought this one in may of 2007, the other was bought in october of 2006, both of the gas ones engine sizes were 150cc's, 8Horsepower and top speed of 63mph, then in October 2007 I made a really big jump in power and price and reliability, I bought another scooter which is the one I own now and for until I either die on it or wreck it. its a Suzuki Burgman 650, its 638cc's, 54Horsepower, and top speed of 105...then it takes almost forever to get to 115. weighs about 500 or 600 lbs, the other two weighed only 200 lbs or so.
so yeah, i've been through some, do people ride scooters in indiana?

trial and error, like most people, they start off with a crappy used car or just borrow someones car for a while, then buy a new one that works but not to their needs, then they learn about cars and whats what and why is this better than that and so on, then with that education are better able to make a better choice on the next vehicle. I just chose bikes since i like the wind smacking me.

Try searching for vauxhall calibra, might get better images. Calibra was quite a sweet sports saloon, with very good aerodynamics for the time There is one parked otside my office in white with a V6.
Go on rage! take through to the end

you should model some non-street racer car. Like a Dodge Calibre or something.
would be a nice change. Something more boxy. Or try your hand at some concepts, should be entertaining.
