I'm working on revamping some of the octappi worldbuilding and adding stuff to it, houses are a part of that! These aren't what all octappi live in, but it's one of the most common simple house types in the skysea isles. Depending on the region, the house might be built out of cement, stone, clay, wood,glass, it can be stacked with others in cities etc; but usually, the shape and tendency to not build directly on the ground, the large windows, the inclusion of a pool or pond and the many layers of decorations can be found on most houses.
