Description
the digivolution chart for the DWC competition. I haven't had the time I wanted to redesign the other stages, but I've had these two redesigned for a while, and I guess they ARE dueRookie: Chierumon
Type: Vaccine
The Guardian Cat Digimon
Attacks:
Barrier Bell: A barrier that can deflect even the most powerful of champion level attacks but renders Chierumon immobile while in use.
Mourningstar: A powerful, surprisingly flexible move that uses Chierumon's heavy, spiked tail to fuck you up.
Cat Scratch Fever: A move that enhances the natural characteristics of Chierumon's claws to deal heavy slashing damage.
Champion: MachTigidrimon
Type: Vaccine
The Modified Tiger Digimon
Attacks:
Lightning Strike: A move that utilizes the burner-wings on Tigidrimon's back to shoot towards enemies at supersonic speeds. Fast, but unidirectional at shorter distances.
Sound Barrier: Tigidrimon's roar resounds off of his bell to create a barrier wall in the direction of his roar. Good for pushing enemies away.
Reap: Tigidrimon uses his scythe-like tail to slice his enemies to pieces. The tail is very sharp and fairly strong, but its power comes from quick strikes and could not hold up in a battle of brute strength.
Ultimate: Kanekomon
Type: Vaccine
The Protection Charm Digimon
Attacks:
Feather Rain: Kanekomon's feather's turn to cold, hard, unrelenting steel before firing in a fairly unidirectional assault of miniature blades. Each feather does relatively little damage, but underestimate the combined might of this attack and you may be in trouble.
Bell Barrage: Kanekomon uses his bells, reinforced with an energy barrier, to beat your skull in. The incredibly strong ribbons attached to the bells mean that this attack can have plenty of range if need be.
Barrier Blast: Kanekomon's bells emit a high frequency sound/energy barrier that immediately knocks back anything not recognized by Kanekomon as an ally. This can be used in short bursts to clear away opponents, or in a fashion similar to Chierumon's Barrier Bell with the same drawbacks: Kaneko is unable to move while keeping the barrier up.
Mega: Raikenmon
Type: Vaccine
The Lightning Reaper Digimon
Attacks:
Sonic Waltz: A lightning fast flurry of swipes with Raikenmon's scythe. This attack has great speed and control so don't think that you can dodge it the same way you could MachTigidrimon's Lightning Strike!
Sword Storm: As with his ultimate form, Raikenmon has the ability to turn his feathers to steel. An upgraded form of feather rain, this attack uses Raikenmon's speed to send blades out in every direction with a nasty habit of changing vectors due to the winds kicked up by the spin required to execute this move.
Holy Offering: By breaking one of the bells attached to his scythe, Raikenmon can use the stored energy to let off an incredibly powerful blast. The bell's have an extremely slow regeneration period, however, so each bell can only be used once per week (or after a de-evolution and energy recovery). The bell around Raikenmon's neck is his most cherished, carrying the most energy for an attack.
A thing to note about Chierumon's two higher forms: They are both very powerful, but with serious drawbacks. Kanekomon is an adept at defense, but his attacks are relatively weak for an ultimate, as evidenced by his small stature. On the other hand, his mega level is for more offensive situations, but Raikenmon's defense is extremely low. He can produce weaker barriers with the help of all three bells (one on his neck and two on his scythe) but they don't even hold a candle to his ultimate form. Additionally, with each successive use of his Holy Offering attack, his defence drops even more as there are fewer bells to concentrate his barriers through. All of Chierumon's forms have very good speed, and if you take away his barriers, his defense is fairly weak because he has not needed to up his stamina with the crutch of powerful barriers to lean on.
I redid Kanekomon's design a little bit, but I decided that there really wasnt much I wanted to do with Raikenmon, so I left him as is.
Oh yeah, the mask on top of Kanekomon's head is that of a cat face. It's markings are like Chierumon's face and it's eye sockets glow.
