Two of the best examples of 1990s diesel locomotives sit on the point of a autorack train as it passes through Glendale. On point is Norfolk Southern SD60M #6781, built in 1993 for Conrail. This should have been a treat in itself to see this ex-CR unit, but the second unit was my favorite. Just behind the branches you can see BC Rail #4605, a C40-8M built by GE in 1990. It was great to see the 4605 still in BC Rail colors, and this was the first of only two times I have seen a BC Rail unit still in its original colors.
