It's been a full year since these babies were last drawn/updated, but now its time for a real update!Meet the NPCs!
In Order: Kitty, Pomme, Vella and Robin.
NPC #1: Kitty

Owner: Into-The-Chasm
Personality: Sly, Cunning, Clever, Quiet, Sneaky.
Backstory: Kitty and Pomme were captured and experimented on at the same time by the scientists. During the grand escape - where most Kappes fled back to their world, Kitty made sure Pomme was with him. While not directly blood related, he adores her and treats her like a younger sister. Pomme doesn't know of Kitty's cunning side - how he hides things from her and runs an illegal shop in town known as the Lottery Corner. To Pomme, Kitty is always very tired or sleeping, as he usually runs his shop at night once everyone is in bed. He runs the shop to make extra bottlecaps and such for Pomme to have.
Kitty might not be strong, but he is protective and tough. He does try to look out for Kappans down on their luck usually by "accidentally" messing with RNG. He might not seem like the best guy but his heart is in the right place. However, he does dumpster dive for extra money - so he can be smelly, very smelly.
In his down time, away from the shop, Kitty does like to assist Pomme with things around the Kappan world. Since she's very much into helping others, he is there to make sure she's ok through it all. Often times he can seem blunt, but its all a part of his charm. If he's there with you, he will help no matter what his attitude is like.

Personality: Sweet, Caring, Energetic, Enthusiastic.
Backstory: Pomme was always a happy Kappe, even before she could fully remember. Even in the darkest times of being used at the lab - she always had a thought that one day they would be free and live happily. When that day arrived, she knew that the Kappes were going to be lost and confused- especially without help or a leader! So she stepped up to be helpful. Pomme always had a soft spot for others in her heart and she goes out of her way to help those in any type of need. While her and Kitty are very close, she is usually busy running around the world trying to help others - sometimes bringing him along with her. Pomme makes sure Kappes feel safe and at home. She helps them collect bottlecaps and items while also giving tours when she can. She just wants to be helpful and hearing the words "thank you!" fuels her greatly. However, Pomme is a bit oblivious - especially to the underground operations [like the lottery corner] that are going on.

Personality: Smart, Creative, Organized, Orderly, Dedicated.
Backstory: Unlike most Kappes, Vella was giving an almost assistant role to the scientists. Her IQ was off the charts for most species they have seen - not regarding humans. After her experimentation, she was educated in the field of science and made to assist with some of the experimentations that took place. She was creating mixtures and guiding Kappes through these experiments. Vella led them to believing she was on their side, completely controlled, meanwhile she was actually plotting a grand escape for all the kappes. Once she felt she had learned enough, she had slowly tampered with the lab - allowing all to escape over time. However, Vella never felt she belonged in Kappea, fearing Kappes hated her for what they went through. While many don't, she still feels this way. Vella spends all of her time trying to improve the lives of the Kappes around her - mixing vials and taking trips to the human world to find anything of use.
She is the main scientist in Kappea and often times will experiment any new concoction on her or Kitty if he's willing. While she cannot forgive herself for things that happened in the past, she hopes one day she will be forgiven in the future.

Personality: Tricky, Slick, Crafty, Persistent, Persuasive.
Backstory: Robin is a Weasel-like Kappe who always found herself with sticky-fingers around others. She was used to pick pocketing, stealing, charming, whatever she could to get stuff. She just really likes getting stuff, even if they have no use to her. She is basically a hoarder of items she never uses. When she eventually met Kitty one day, she saw him as an older sibling. He was just like her - sly and creative, always lurking in the shadows. She wants to be just like him or even surpass him. When learning of his Lottery Shop - Robin couldn't help but give him some of the old items she had laying around unused. While she's not exactly happy he gives these items out for free, it does continue the cycle of her stealing and giving them to him. At times when Kitty has to step out - Robin takes over the store for him.
