Before I add to much to this I'll stop here :LTwilight is kinda derp faced lol but I'm very pleased with the picture overall
I don't think I've seen a semi-realistic representation of the tree library yet so I thought this would be worth the effort, guess I didn't do too bad.
The image is 3656 x 2664 so the file is quite large (4.5 MB) I may upload a scaled down version if need be.
Feel free to download if you like it and maybe even give it a comment or fave ! anything will mean a lot to me.

Was just playing around with some effects on the image and decided to add these, didn't think they were worth a deviation all to themselves so I'll just
leave them here for your viewing pleasure ^_^

Pretty awesome landscape. Love the cross section view of the soil and roots as well as the grass above ground. The light rays being emitted from the windows is a great touch as well, especially on the back side. Also, the shading to the tree is nice.
However, I can not help but notice that Twilight casts a shadow on the ground but the tree does not. Also, in my opinion, it is definitely lacking in the foliage area (I've studied and worked in forestry). Some of your windows are a little rough too. The outline around some of them are too dark when considering that they have light being emitted from out of them. The observation deck on-top appears flat and 2-dimensional. The image looks really texture heavy as a whole and some, if not most, of the textures appear a little out of place, like the windows. Tho, I am not too sure if that is what you were going for.
Still, pretty cool work. I am a big fan of drawing trees and seeing others draw them.

yeah this piece was more of an experiment for me I was trying new methods that I had previously never used or thought of using before so I was going in blind.
Although I had an idea and I wasn't going to give it up anytime soon so i carried on.
Most of the mistakes are down to me not being picky enough and not thinking it would get this much exposure so quickly :L

A good tip that I was given recently is converting the image to gray-scale, observing areas where it is darker or lighter than it should be, and adjusting the image accordingly. This is pretty useful when you are inserting textures and shading. Keep up the good work!

they were done partly manipulation an partly painted to make it blend better

Good use of resources here, I'd say. Love the intense fantasy depiction in this piece, I just wish the tree was generally larger, as Twilight makes the house look small.
Nonetheless, definitely a great effort!

I guess making it so the tree's height reaches just around the edge of the canvas would be all that is required, that way it would look more majestic and appropriate to Twilight's suggested size.
That's all I'm saying, really. Everything else is perfectly fine.
