Photo is a tad bit rough, but here is a mural I completed on Thursday with two good friends (aprilsolomonart and XohnnyRaddox on instagram, we go to school together) on our campus for the spring time. The director of student life asked me if I wanted to do another one since he said the school really enjoyed the one I made in the fall, so I said yes (couldn't say no haha) and recruited two buddies to help me. Definitely were able to get a bigger, more impressive piece done with more people working on it.

I had wanted to collab with April for ages, she's a stunning artist. Her dA is atomsanddust and she is just.. awesome honestly. She came early on thursday and did the sketch and blocked in most of the background before I arrived; Painted along with her later on up until she left, blocking in some more background parts and painting the coyote. My dude Xohnny helped with smaller details, touch ups, and ordering us some grub. It was hard work and took hours but was definitely worth it, we hope the students like it.

The LCAD "graffiti wall" 10x10 foot framed wall portion against one of the buildings. It is a recurring tradition meant to be fun and inspiring, and each mural is painted over to accommodate the next. This is why the wall itself is super warped, with lots of beveling and parts that have buckled out, which makes it difficult to paint, but also serves as a reminder to not fuss over it, and just have fun!
