For:
2024 AusWB Futurity Championships,The Australian Warmblood Association is proud to present the 2024 Futurity Championships. This event is the proving ground for the best Australian Warmblood young horses around the world. The Futurity is designed to prove the strength of certain bloodlines and the ability of breeders and horses to produce foals that strive towards the breeds ideal to create an international quality sport horse. This event is specific for Australian Warmblood foals, however it is open to members, breeders, first time owners, and those who are interested in getting started in the breed. We highly recommend taking a look at the all of the Breed information Journals when deciding if this event is right for you. This event is sponsored by:,Sponsors are offering a range of benefits for Futurity Horses including; discounts on products, nutrition support, travel assistance, and tack and equipment fittings. For more information on each Sponsor's benefits, please see their Sponsor Banner. You are welcome to include any or all of these benefits in your stories., About the Show The Futurity is an event that promotes careful breeding while adding a good dose of luck and hard work. The goal is to breed, raise, train and show the best young horse possible. This is tested through the Futurity Show Season and then proven at the Championships at the end of the year. By the end of this event the Australian Warmblood Association hopes that all entrants will have had the chance to breed, train, and show a horse that will have a solid career start and show experience behind it. Each entrant must nominate their foal to earn a Futurity Ticket. Only horses that hold a Futurity Ticket will be able to participate in the events shows and possibly earn the Title of 2024 Futurity Champion. Your Futurity Ticket will be your event log and you will need to keep that link as it is where you will submit all your training art to redeem your Season points, as well as submitting your show entries all in this single thread. There are several requirements for the foals that are eligible to receive a Futurity ticket. Eligible foals must have a lineage of at least a Sire and Dam that are referenced HARPG horses (i.e. no starter foals). Foals must be registered with the Australian Warmblood Association as Australian Warmbloods, and may be of any Bloodline. Foals must be 5yo or under as listed on their reference, and should be blank slates (i.e. no other artwork, activity or show entries than their reference). Entrants are encouraged to find exciting pairings to create their Futurity Foal. You may use your own horses for this purpose, or may use another players horses. To assist in helping new members find a suitable parent, the Australian Warmblood Association are offering a limited time chance to get a breeding to the Association Horses. For this event the regular breeding payment will be reduced to a breeding image of the horse in question. If you wish to apply to use an Association Horse for breeding your foal, please submit your request at this comment and specify the payment as 'Futurity Breeding'.Your foal's Futurity Ticket is how you prove its participation in event, and how you may log and track its Show Season Points to best know where you stand in the lead up to the Championship event. Each ticket is specific to each horse. It is not player bound, so if you sell your Futurity foal the ticket transfers with them and you may not reuse it to enter another horse. We advise all entrants make sure they only nominate foals they wish to continue with through the entire event. Season Points are earned through entering the Futurity Shows and through completing Training prompts of your Futurity horse. These Season Points make up 1/3 of your total Futurity Title Score and therefore we advise entrants try to earn as many points as possible during the Season. You may earn as many Season Points as you wish, however each Futurity Horse must complete at least one Futurity Show Entry OR Training Prompt to qualify for the Championship. For each Show your horse will 'age' up. This is designed to mimic Futurity events that occur over 5 years in the real world, but over a reasonable time period to suit HARPG. We are aware this format does not match up with the aging process and timelines in most peoples storylines, so we encourage everyone to embrace the HARPG timeline magic within their stories. You may treat the event as historical for your horse if it is older in your storyline, or you may treat it as the future if your horse is younger in your story line. All options are accepted and the only times we will enforce a horses age in artwork is during the Futurity shows. The first show of the season will have them compete as 2yo's, the second show as 3yo's, the third show as 4yo's, and finally horses must be drawn as 5 year olds for the Championships. The Championship Event at the end of the year will be the culmination of the Futurity Event. The Championship will be divided into four divisions; Dressage, Jumper, Hunter, and Eventing. Horses may only enter one division, so it is recommended that entrants choose the discipline that best suits your horses training and future career. Your horses result from the Championship will make up the remaining 2/3 of your Futurity Title Score and will therefore provide the largest influence on the Title placing's. Throughout the event there will be prizes for the Season Shows, Championship, as well as for the best producing Sire and Dam overall. However the biggest prizes are reserved for the Futurity Title winners. The two horses that have the highest scores of the season will earn the titles of Futurity Grand Champion, and Futurity Reserve Champion. These horses will receive the lions share of the prizes and the bragging rights of being the best of their age group. , General RulesFoals must be registered with the Australian Warmblood Association before Nomination.Foals must have at least a Sire + Dam that are HARPG horses (no starter foals).Foals must be 5yo or under when Nominated.Foals must be a blank slate upon entry, aka they may only have reference art. If there are any other images of them they will be denied.Foals that were nominated in a previous Futurity event but never drawn may apply for nomination again. You may lease a foal from another person for the event, however the foal MUST have a valid futurity ticket.Foals MUST have a Ticket in order to enter any Shows during this event.Foals must have at least one Futurity Show Entry OR one Training Prompt Image during the season to participate in the Championship. All Training and Show images MUST be replied to the horses Ticket comment in order to be officially logged and scored.Foals must compete in one event in the Championship to enter the judging for the Futurity Title. If you change your mind about participating in the event, or run out of time for the mandatory images, or purchase a foal with a ticket but not want to take part, then that is not a problem. You may participate (or not) at the activity level that best suits you. The goal of this event is to create a young horse that has the training and the experience to start a successful HARPG career moving forwards., Futurity ScheduleAll dates are in AEST/AEDT time zones.Warnings of closures will be posted in the group discord.NominationsDec 29 2023 - Ticket Nominations OpenJan 31st 2024 - Ticket Nominations CloseTraining ImagesYou may submit Training images as soon as your horses ticket has been posted by an admin.November 1st 2024 - Training Image submissions Close.Show SeasonApril 1st-30th 2024 - The Newnes Endeavour - First show of the season (2yo event) June 1st-30th 2024 - Pomp in Paradise - Second show of the season (3yo event)August 1st-31st 2024 - Bumbunga Bonanza - Third show of the season (4yo event)Championship ShowNovember 1st - December 31st 2024 - Championship in the Gardens - Final show(5yo event), Help HubIf you are looking for any assistance or are willing to offer assistance to your fellow entrants, please see the following threads that best suit your needs.>> Looking For Stallions/Mares <

“Ready to go little lady?” I asked Essos.
I kept my demeanor calm as I approached the young filly. Essos had been so good with everything we had done with her so far so I was hoping the first time haltering and leading her would be the same.
“I think this will be just fine.” I heard Britton as she moved towards Venneta.
Soon we had both of the fillies next to us and were working on putting on the halters.
“That’s it, just go easy.” I smiled as I slipped the nosepiece of the halter over the filly’s soft nose. She jerked her head up in surprise but with my calm hands and consistent reassurance she submitted to me strapping the halter in place.
“How’s she doing?” Britton asked as she came up next to me leading Venneta.
“Apparently not quite as good as your lady!” I laughed softly as I secured the buckle on the crown piece of the halter. “But, we’re good now aren’t we girl?”
We smiled at each other. Both the fillies were behaving perfectly!
“Want to take them around the far pasture?” Britton asked as she stepped out with Venneta close by her.
“Sure, that sounds nice.” I responded with a contented sigh.
It was a glorious day out, perfect weather in the perfect time of year. Wyndshard Kentucky always had a special charm to me and this day was no different. We walked slowly, allowing both fillies time to get used to having something on their heads.
As we walked I felt the warmth of the day seeping into my body. It felt so nice! I couldn’t help but notice Britton walking nearby, always keeping her eyes on me. I had this girl in the palm of my hand. Britoon had told me as much the other night. It was not something I took lightly. Britton was so attractive and her personality was nothing short of perfect for me. She made me laugh and also had a head on her shoulders.
“What are you thinking about?” Her words snapped me back to the present.
“Just how good little Essos is doing!” I responded quickly.
“Sure, that sounds about right. Well, I was thinking about you.” Britton gave me a sly wink and then turned forward.
I laughed. “Well, thanks for being honest!”
We walked on, enjoying the day and the two perfect fillies we were going to be training. The Australian Warmblood Futurity loomed somewhere in the distance. I was so excited to see how both our fillies would grow!
