Granny Smith & Grand Pear
The matriarch of the Apples and patriarch of the Pears. No, there was never romance between the two of them, they'd both been happily married at one point. Of course, Grand Pear had divorced his wife soon after leaving Ponyville, and Granny Smith's husband had died long before her. Even so, both alone and grandparents to a bunch of kids thanks to their children, they stuck together and Grand Pear and Granny Smith ended up living on the Apple's farm together until their deaths. They died within a month of each other, Granny from old age and Grand Pear because he got sick and couldn't fight it. It was a sad time for their family but they buried their grandparents next to Bright Mac and Pear Butter's graves in the family cemetary. The only grandkids who met Granny and Grand Pear were the triplets(Little Seed, Cortland, and Pallivalley) and Jimjam, but their stories are passed through the entire family.

Bright Mac x Pear Butter
True love, something all their kids aspire to find one day. They'd be proud of their grandkids, just like they were proud of their children. They died less than a year after Apple Bloom's birth during a harvest run to Apploosa. Usually a two day trip by train, the couple decided to walk the entire journey. Pear Butter ached for some fresh air after caring for Apple Bloom for months, and they wanted some alone time together. Away from family, just for the two of them. It was supposed to be romantic. They never made it to Apploosa. The bridge they were crossing over the Gastly Gorge collapsed under the weight of the cart Bright Mac had been pulling. It was devastating to their family and it's a big reason why Applejack was terrified to let Apple Bloom out of her sight(S4EP17: Somepony to Watch Over Me). Their deaths really rattled the family but brought them even closer than they had been before.

Bow Hothoof x Windy Whistles
Rainbow Dash's extremely supportive parents! Through everything Rainbow Dash went through, her kids, her divorce, her new relationship, all of it, they were there, supporting her all the way. Their own relationship was filled with love and support, pride in each other as strong as the love they shared. They were both devote parents and even more devoted grandparents. But Bow got sick, very sick. He was diagnosed with late stage liver cancer. It was a sad time, but Windy and Bow made it work. They spent all their time with their daughter and grandchildren. They adored Cumulonimbus, Cloud Chaser, and baby Jonagold with every cell of their beings, making as many memories as they could while Bow was around. He died peacefully in the hospital. His death almost devastaed Windy and Rainbow, but they had their families there for them. With Jonagold outside foalsitter needed age, Windy doesn't get to spend as much time with her family as she would like, but she's always visiting as much as she can. Recently she's been Chase's go-to hide away because she'll always welcome him with open wings when he's going through one of his emotional fits.

Applejack x Troubleshoes
There was no relationship here. It was a fling, nothing more, nothing less. Less than a month of wild meetings and fun times, but it meant nothing to either of them. Troubleshoes went on his way with his life with fleeting thoughts of Applejack afterwards. Applejack, however, was left with more than just thoughts. She was pregnant.. with triplets. It was a hard pregnancy, and while having the father around would've helped, their fling had ended badly. So badly that Applejack never told Troubleshoes about their kids, hell after their final fight, she'd never spoken to him again. She didn't need him to raise her kids, and she did a fine job with them. So imagine Troubleshoe's surprise when he's approached at random one day by three barely adult ponies claiming to be his kids. His and Applejacks! He could see the resemblence in them, Little Seeds color, Cortland's size and coloration, Pallivalley's eyes and markings. But they'd expected too much out of him. There was no way he could go from not knowing for over 18 years to being the dad they'd thought they'd get one day. The reunion was.. flat and boring and devastating, especially to Pallivalley who'd always wanted to meet her father, only for him to shrug off their relationship like they didn't matter to him. Because, really, they didn't. That's the last time Troubleshoes had anything to do with Applejack and her family.

Applejack x Rainbow Dash
Post divorce, Rainbow Dash was looking for companionship again. She found it easily in Applejack, her closest friend besides Pinkie. They fell into a romance very easily. Both their kids accepted their Aunts becoming more than aunts. Nimbus and Chase gained a new stepmom in Auntie Applejack, while the triplets gained Auntie Rainbow as their stepmom. Neither Applejack nor Rainbow Dash wanted to get married, Applejack never had and Rainbow had just come out of a marriage and wasn't looking to jump back on the bandwagon right away. It only took a year of dating for their son, Jonagold, to be born. It was an easy decision for both of them, Applejack was strong enough to raise triplets alone, she could handle just baby Jonagold. Rainbow and Applejack are an amazing match despite Rainbow always being busy with Wonderbolts stuff. It works well with Applejack being independent. They always soak up each other's attention when the other is around though, and Rainbow Dash does her best to help out in any way around the farm that she can.

Big Mac x Sugar Belle
We all saw their romance and their wedding, a couple surely blessed by Bright Mac and Pear Butter. Together, they're nearly perfect. Sugar Belle is the talkative happy-go-lucky that Big Mac needed. It's a joke in the family that Big Mac married his mother, since Sugar Belle is just so much like Pear Butter was, just a little less.. romantic? Perhaps not the best way to put it, but Big Mac is the romantic one. Always doing small, sweet things for his wife while she does more meaningful things for him. Like holding down the home, helping around the farm even though it's not her forte, and trying her damndest to raise five crazy foals. Big Mac and Sugar Belle are the parents of five crazy, lovely foals. Jimjam, Primrose, Akane Jelly(Little Sugar), Ambrosia, and Mac n Cheese(Little Mac)

Big Mac x Ditzy Doo(Derpy)
Big Mac's first relationship was with Ditzy Doo, locally known as Derpy(they/them NB). It was very on again, off again, but they did love each other the entire time. They were young, high schoolers, when Derpy got pregnant. It was absolutely terrifying to the both of them. Big Mac's only ambition was to work on the farm, but Derpy had hoped to go to college and make something of themself! Maybe be a vetrinarian or a nurse or an exotic tea shop and bakery owner! Something away from Ponyville and the childhood that hadn't been nice to them and their eyes. It wasn't something they could help, and maybe that's why they latched onto Big Mac's affections so hard. Even when he got scared at their pregnancy, he was still there for them. Soon their son, Dinky Doo(transmale), was born. Their relationship had a lot of rough patches, and rough waves that only got worse when Sugar Belle and Big Mac started dating and got married. Derpy and Big Mac had always been on again off again, but after his marriage to Sugar Belle.. something changed for the better. He could give Derpy more attention than he'd had to, their family was doing okay. He could step up and be the father he'd struggled to be with Sugar Belle backing him up. Derpy gave up on her dreams and became the mailpony to Ponyville, but so much had changed in those years that they didn't mind the loss of their dream. They were happy, incredibly so, with their son and boyfriend.

Sugar Belle & Ditzy Doo(Derpy)
Sugar Belle never expected the relationship Big Mac had with Derpy to be so strong. She didn't know they had a son together, but Derpy and Big Mac's relationship was something that was surprisingly easy to get used to. Derpy doesn't live on the farm, but still comes around plenty. Perhaps it's a bit... sister wives to say it, but Sugar Belle is immensely grateful for Derpy, and the two have an amazing friendship even now. Derpy helped raise Sugar Belle and Big Mac's five children, always there to lend a helping hoof when Sugar Belle needed it. Perhaps their little herd isn't polyamorous, and Derpy and Sugar Belle will never be more than friends, but they're the best of friends and are very happy with the life they share together.

Apple Bloom x Silver Spoon
Apple Bloom, jack of all trades, married Silver Spoon, family lawyer. As they grew older together, they became friends, and by the time they had graduated high school, they were happily dating. It was hard at that point, because Silver Spoon moved to Canterlot to attend law school, pulling the two of them apart. Their contact seemed to slowly fade off as the years went by, but when Silver Spoon returned to Ponyville, diploma in hoof and new job ready to roll, Apple Bloom was the first to meet her at the train station. Their reunion hug sparked every nerve of romance that had ever between them and magnified it. Apple Bloom quickly invited Silver Spoon to live with her in her home on the edge of Ponyville. A neat cabin with a large workshop and a small garden. A serene little place not too far from the entrance of the Everfree Forest that leads to Zecora's cabin. It was while settling in that they shared their activities for the past few years. Silver Spoon was a family lawyer, ready to take on divorces, custody hearings, and final willl and testiments. Apple Bloom had became a jack of all trades. A teacher at Twilight's school, a gardener, a wood worker, a carpenter, and even a potion maker. She could do so much, and Silver Spoon fell in love all over again with her strong independent mare. They started dating quickly, and within a couple years were married and expecting their first foal. Glitter Petal, the daughter they spoil absolutely rotten, was born in the small cabin that her mother's called home. Silver Spoon couldn't have asked for better, and Apple Bloom has never been happier. She loves her strong lawyer wife.

What a big family, I hope I explained it all nicely. I kept Sugar Belle and Big Mac's canon child and renamed him Jimjam(I don't like Big Sugar) and I'm KIND OF in love with the name. it just sounds so fun. Jimjam. Jimjam jimminy jam.
