The word ‘charka’ is derived from ‘cakram,’ which is Sanskrit for ‘wheel’ or ‘circle.’ Tonnes of literature can be found covering what they stand for, what they do to influence our existence, and how to channel them. Being as they’re based in color, it was a great place to look for color inspiration. Oddly enough, or perhaps obviously, the colors that represent each chakra coincide with common color symbolism. I really love this one. The green turned out SO pretty. Yes, I know the position of the heart is a little....not right. Whatever.
