Description
Hello!What is it?
A gift I made for my friend for her graduation day.
Medium:
Watercolor on canvas, 35x45cm
Note:
First I want to crop only the artwork, but I feel that the canvas frame with background help solidify my feeling in this work.
Actually canvas is designed for acrylic or oil, but I want to try watercolor on it to see if it works or not, and it works! But you have to spray it with a layer of lacquer in order to make color more durable(because watercolor on canvas is very prone to water)
Thank you in advance.
If you have question, feel free to ask me.

It's so beautiful!
Do you sketch out the pose of the girl before hand (like, an anatomy skeleton)?

Yes, but just lightly, because I don't want it to have solid-looking outline.

i love this so cute and light. i wanted to know how what type of camera you used, i have an iphone i think it would take a good picture. when you put it on the internet did you brighten the image, darken?? to make the final image brighter or something??? i don`t have photoshop, just microsoft publisher, and a photo image program (picknick) just wanted to know what you use. to make it so clear, and bright, thanks in advance

I shot with DSLR camera, but I think any compact digital camera will also do. iPhone camera is acceptable but picture quality maybe not that sharp and loss details.
All I do is adjust the brightness/contrast of the picture, which I think picnik can do it just fine.

I really love all your watercolour works. They radiate with such a warm happy feeling that takes me back to my childhood days.
This picture fits in very well for summer, and is such a nice present for your friend.
I feel the impressionism-style bg you've got there really makes the character stand out and add to the feeling of warm and nostalgia. C:

Wow, that's really unique. I like that you can see the canvas' texture. Very lovely style. If you can do this of a nice job with eatercolors, I'd love to see you work with oil paint or acryc. Keep it up!

Thank you!
My acrylic skill is not very good, and I feel it's hard to paint. And also the color dry real quick.
