Description
So I drew more of Leavella because I love her so! <3 I'm figuring out parts of her backstory. All there is to know for now is she's just about as old as the seasons and, obviously, has lived through generations. :3ΒArt & Leavella (c) Rainjay-xx

She really is a gorgeous OC jay you never fail to disappoint when it comes to designs. I really don't think Β she needs a cutie mark I'd imagine she's not exactly a pony but she looks like she could easily be a guardian/spirit of the forest (especially seeing as she has a branch for her tail) and it would suit her very graceful look. I really love her jay and am excited to see what her backstory is :3Β

I was actually thinking about leaving her cutiemark altogether since I would get a little bothered by it being covered by her chest piece. Guardian of the forest. I really like the sound of that. :3
Also, I was thinking of making the other three elements all guardian and whatnot. If I do make them and you like one in particular, you can has because I wouldn't wanna keep all of them. I like having a small family of OCs. :3Β

Yea I honestly think the design is complex enough and kinda speaks for itself - It's pretty apparent from her design that she is related to the forest especially autumn. Yea honestly when I saw her design "Guardian of the forest" just screamed at me. I can totally imagine Autumn meeting her and being in Awe and asking loads of questions etc. They'd look great together.
That would be awesome there should definitely be three more guardians XD you should deco do a story about it or something it seems like an awesome concept. I know what you mean I don't want to have loads of neglected OCs DX If you don't mind I would love to have a go at designing on? Possibly Winter but I don't mind if not - I don't wanna step on your toes and have a bad design sticking out like a sore thumb

Indeed! I don't want her any more complex than she is. When I originally drew this design of her she had loads of curls and what have you. I'm so glad I got rid of them. Her hair now is so easy to draw. :3 I'm definitely gonna draw Autumn and Leavella's first meeting. It'd be so cute to see the look on Autumn's stunned face. >3<
I'd love to do a story about them, but sadly I'm not the best at writing. I used to roleplay a lot but I haven't written a story in ages. I wouldn't know where to go with it, ya know? Oh don't you be going on about making a "bad design", I love the designs you make and you know it! I'd love to see you design a Winter guardian! :3

yea I'm definitely gonna have to draw that - I have officially stopped any commissions and after that its ART FOR ME AND MA BUDS yea I can so see Autumn seeing Leavella as a mentor it's almost perfect! God I have images whirling around my head XDΒ
Yea im not the best at writing... thats why I tried doing comics which is IMO much more fun and expressive XD it just took up too much of my time but soon its gonna be my summer so who knows!! And ranks Jay - you could say my designs never fail to disappoint don't kill me pls... well I will definitely have to have a go!Β

Comics are awesome but I would never have time for other art if I did one. But I still love reading them :3 I'm afraid my laws forbid me from killing anyone so you're safe. xD Well I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Yea comics take up way too much time... I mean Id love to do one as I personally think they are one of the best ways to tell a story but they really do eat into free time. Well I can't wait to have a go :3 I haven't designed a pony in agggees!

awww shucks yes I must say I find id daawwwable having a squirrel climbing in her horn XD I really think there designs look good together I mean I am in LOVE with Leavella like you don't even know 
And I actually already have a sketch which I must say Im quite happy with :3 I have a personality in mind and everything I just need to find a decent colour combo...

Ahhhhh the wait is killing me! I must see soon! If you're stuck for colours I suggest looking up some free palettes. I did that for Leavella and mixed and matched different given colours

yea I'm definitely gonna be taking inspiration from palettes XD Im gonna just play around with colours when it's digital i find it so much easier to change it around and play with palettes then. Well cross fingers she turns out good!

yea don't get me wrong i love sketching traditionally but digital art does make things a heck of a lot easier

It really does! Although sometimes when I'm sketching traditionally I just wish it would work like digital art. Sometimes I prefer my sketches <3
