Deep in the heart of a royal palace was a large, silent room. In the room was only a gentle pup and a single piano. The pup walked up to the piano and sat down on the piano chair. The pup looked up to see the music sheet in front of her. After a few moments, she then took a deep breath. Once she was comfortable, she began to press down on the piano keys and let her paws do the rest. The silent room was suddenly filled with a joyous, sweet melody. The pup smiled as she continued to play, listening to the notes flowing as if they were milk and honey.
  After a few more minutes, the song concluded and the pup lifted her paws from the keys. She let out a happy breath as she still listened to the last remnants of the cadence.
  As she got down from the chair, there was a slight noise at the door. The pup quickly turned to the door and asked if anyone was there. Slowly appearing from the door was a male pup slightly older than the one in the room.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" called the first pup.
"I-I just wanted to hear the song that you were playing. It was really nice, by the way," replied the second one. "Do you mind if you play it again?"
The first pup stood for a moment, thinking. A few moments later, the pup called the boy into the room and to sit next to her on the piano chair.
"Instead of playing the song, I'll teach you," declared the girl. "It's a fairly simple song, and it'll be a lot more fun that way. Besides, if you ever want to hear it again, you can just play it." The girl then instructed the boy where to place his paws and when to press the keys. Once their session was done, the girl asked the boy to play the melody.
"Don't worry if you mess up," the girl smiled. "Let your hands where they want to go, and listen."

In a quiet, ordinary village near the royal palace was a quiet, ordinary pup named Reed. Born out of an average-sized family, Reed lived an average-sized life. However, that all changed as a decree was passed from the king, ordering all those a certain age to come to the castle and to become a knight. Reed, who was within the age limit, left all that he knew and trained to become a protector of the royal family and his nation. As he trained in his new life style and became one of the best of the best, Reed (along with a few others) was then given one of the most important positions of all the knights: protect the daughter of the royal family.
The job at first was simple, as it consisted of guarding the princess's room and to accompany her wherever she went. The princess, who's name was Cadence, was a young girl who loved music and particularly enjoyed her piano. All of the guards, including Reed, loved staying outside her room, listening to her play.
One of the rules of the knights was not to enter into the room of any member of the royal family. However, during one of Princess Cadence's sessions, Reed couldn't help himself but to slip through Rose's door and listen to her play. It wasn't too long until the Cadence found out. However, instead of being reprimanded and demanded to leave the room, the princess let him stay, and even asked him to accompany her during her session.
  The two soon were acquainted with each other and set out another time to meet again. These times soon became frequent meets that often ended with one of the princess's maids scolding and ushering Reed out of the room. That, however, didn't stop them from meeting and soon the two became very close.
One day, Reed walked into the room to find that Cadence was nowhere to be found. Looking all over the castle, he couldn't find her anywhere. He alerted the rest of the knights and soon an order was given to find Princess Cadence. Knights were sent all across the country and some were sent even further. Among these knights were Reed, who was devoted on finding the princess.
During one of the his searches, Reed found himself caught in the middle of a battle between a multitude of beasts and a group of mages. After he helped them defeat the beasts, he asked them if they saw Princess Cadence or know about her whereabouts. Not having a clue, the group asked if he wanted their help, which Reed accepted. Soon later, Reed tagged alongside the AcaMagis and helped them on their adventures in return of their help with searching for Princess Cadence.

That is the most I'll probably ever write for now because I'm going on a trip to Honduras and won't be back until probably the 28th. So ... I hope you guys have fun. I'll still be able to check messages and crap until the 6th and won't be back until the 17th.
