Her little pink lips part to reveal pearly white teeth into a smile.

She stretches upwards and jumps in an attempt to grab the delicacy from my hand.

She pouts and her little chubby cheeks jiggle slightly as she settles down.

"Gimmie!"

"What'dya say?"

"Hmph…"

"Do you want it or not?"

"But…"

"Well…?"

"Pwetty pwease may I have the chawcolate?"

Her arms are outstretched and her little hands are cupped together.

Her smile returns and she bats her luscious eyelashes at me.

I drop the chocolate in her hand and she gobbles it up, licking the remnants off her
fingers.

"Tank you!"

I smile down at her and pat her head.

She grabs hold of my hand and brings it to her cheek, nuzzling it.

"I wuv you!"

My eyes soften.

"I love you too, Carmen."
